TMSAMS Public Meeting Invitation?

The Tyson’s Metrorail Stations Access Management Study (TMSAMS) Advisory Group is hosting a public meeting on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at McLean High School to explain the details of the study and to gather the public’s input on recommended bus transit, bicycle and pedestrian improvements needed to access the coming stations.  Because there will be no daily or long-term parking at the stations, the study is focused on bus, pedestrian, and bicycle improvements.

During the meeting, the public will have an opportunity to learn more about the project by viewing a short presentation.  There will also be opportunity to ask questions of County Staff and to engage in small group discussions to identify priorities for bus, bicycle and pedestrian improvements that are necessary to access the new stations.

The Fairfax County Department of Transportation will use the input obtained through this outreach process to prioritize recommended bus, bicycle and pedestrian improvements providing access to the new Metrorail Stations in Tyson’s Corner.

In addition to the public meeting, when the TMSAMS website is launched, the public may also enter their input by completing the coming online survey. The site launch will be announced soon.
