Fires Set On Association Property

The Carrington Community Association board has twice found remains of campfires on association property in recent months. Open fires of any kind are prohibited by association rules and Fairfax County ordinance. During the dry and windy winter months, fires set in natural areas are especially dangerous because they can easily escape control. Association members are reminded that they are responsible for the actions of their children and guests on association property. If you see a fire violation, please call Fairfax County police immediately (non-emergency number: 703-691-2131 ). The board will prosecute anyone found to be violating its fire rules.
